I am an artist from Estonia – a small northeastern country in Europe.
I grew up between the fields and forests of southern Estonia, tracing shapes in the clouds and seeking a magical type of existence in these sacred woods where every bloom and berry was a gift from the spirits.
Summers embroidered a type of warmth and sense of openness on my childhood canvas, spent in a tiny coastal town, surrounded by sand dunes and salty waves.

This rural childhood game me a prism through which to observe what came next –
the urban scapes of northern Europe, the picturesque Dolomites and the Mediterranean, the poetic deserts of the American West with its purple shadowed mountains and deep terracotta sands, the foamy waves and salty winds of the Pacific, palm leaves swaying in the amber-tinted evening skies…
The stories go on, the landscapes ever-changing.
I have landed in a quiet place. The trees are here with me, the rains and birds, new vistas and views. The quietness supports my longing for solitude and simultaneously embraces me with genuine connection.
On this path of exploration, epic adventure and awe, I have wanted to return the gifts to the spirits by drawing these lines, marking the canvas, raising the lens to try and add to the creation – to this beautiful chaos.

My work is a reflection of my observations and experiences, bound together by intimate semiotics.
I am fascinated by the details and the interconnections, the uniqueness of a moment, the notion of beauty, impermanence, uncertainty, the ideas of philosophers, all the languages and all of our stories.
The human experience in its multitude of facets fuels my art. I am a Human Artist.
